Overall Brief
We are looking for a Talent Relations Manager to work with our Talent and provide ongoing support on a professional and personal level. You will work with talent to access their goals and outline career roadmaps on an individual basis. You have an intuition for daily talent needs, and potential partnerships that will excite their passions as well as align with company and professional goals. You have experience managing talent in the gaming industry or have managed top tier YouTube personalities. You have a track record of success in talent relations, with a flexible, creative, and forwarding thinking approach.
We welcome esports agents looking to expand their operations. You will be communicating directly with players, esports orgs and executive staff.
Primary Job Description:
- Work with talent to develop career roadmaps
- Deliver superior talent support and management: listening, advising, addressing concerns, and pro-actively delivering ideas and opportunities for talent
- Developing talent recommendations for brands that fit brand requirement and aesthetic
- Troubleshoot talent issues.
- Work with talent to seek out major third-party opportunities that compliment and/or enhance the company’s internal commerce and ad sales initiatives.
- Research and assess the Talent growth and trends within the social media landscape.
- Develop contacts with organizations or individuals and determine strategies to ensure the clients success.
- Introduce efficiencies and best practices across the Talent Management team.
- Serve as a positive leader and role model with a strong work ethic and vigorously review all work to ensure a high-quality standard.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3-6 years talent management experience
- Proven leadership skills; unique ability to build and manage industry and client relationships.
- Strong critical thinking and reasoning- we want a strategic decision maker
- Highly organized with the ability to seamlessly juggle multiple competing projects at once
- Team player with strong work ethic, keen to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Process-oriented self-starter with excellent leadership and communications skills
- Strong analytical and creative skills
