As Finance Analyst at Fanatee, you will work across teams, help others understand financial decisions, and ensure we have the most up to date and reliable financial information.

You will be working providing the day to day processing of (but not limited to) accounts payable/receivable items, accounting, tax, intercompany finance operations, and payments.

This position will be located in SΓ£o Paulo, but you will also support the US operation, dealing with robust transactions and processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • process, route, and post invoices/bills in accordance with vendors/clients payment terms and contracts, maintain an up-to-date ERP system, ensure timely processing of journal entries.
  • Ensures financial information has been recorded accurately.

  • Complete daily and weekly reconciliations and troubleshoot variances.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • treasury activities including bank account maintenance, bank transactional processing, and payments monitoring
  • manage expenses and vendor payment processes
  • Assist in month end close activities
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments to understand accounts payable/receivable.
  • Monitor contract/project end dates to forecast and reduce impact on cash flow
  • Support/lead ongoing system & tool implementation projects
  • Help to identify inefficient processes and work to help design, and implement the changes required.
  • assist in analysis across all key financial metrics, including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.
  • Ad-hoc reports and any other finance assistance that may be required

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years of relevant finance experience
  • Advanced English (will be tested)
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or related field
  • Advanced Excel user
  • Excellent analytical skills, a passion for metrics and figures, and the ability to get into the details, while also seeing and understanding the big picture
  • Strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication skills
  • Aptitude for being precise and detail-oriented
  • Experience working with accounting, tax and financial operations
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects
  • a high degree of initiative and take ownership of tasks
  • Experience in similar sectors or technology companies will be valued
