As a Collegiate Brand Ambassador at Evil Geniuses, you’ll be working directly with key members and players in the organization to provide an undoubtedly premium experience to fans in your region. You’ll be presented with a variety of new possibilities as you continue to enhance and exercise your skills. We are seeking creative, ambitious, and passionate collegiate esports students with experience rooted in tournament organization, social media marketing, branding, and moderation. Flexibility, strong communication skills, being able to keep cool under pressure, and the ability to work to a hard deadline is what you’ll need to be successful at Evil Geniuses. You will report to our Collegiate Lead as part of the overall Collegiate team.

Responsibilities

  • Support EG collegiate tournaments with operations, chat moderation, and organization
  • Receive and distribute EG collegiate packs to support grassroots esports in your region
  • Provide unique esports experiences to your collegiate region
  • Recognize and relay top priorities in the collegiate space
  • Attune to EG’s social schedule and increase audience engagement metrics with strategy
  • Work with the rest of the Collegiate team and other departments to develop and support new programming throughout the organization
  • Track analytics for collegiate programming and give insight on new projects
  • Engage with our audience and provide insight into our community to all internal departments
  • Attend collegiate events as-needed for live coverage

Requirements

  • Currently registered college student in North America
  • 1-3 years of collegiate esports experience (community and/or competitive)
  • Strong organization, communication, project management, and decision-making skills
  • Enthusiasm for video games and knowledge of the esports industry, teams, and players
  • Experience with moderation and community management
  • Ability to multi-task and organize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency
  • Proficiency in Office preferred
