We are looking for an eSports-crazy social media manager for our imminently available guide for sports fans who are looking to find their sporting fix on Twitch - rather than ESPN.

Over the past couple of weeks, we have commissioned, written, designed, and developed a first-rate resource for potential new fans of some of the biggest eSports in the world. We plan to go live in May and are looking for someone to help us build our social platforms in the build up to that date. We are a fully-funded, long-term-in-mind eSports start-up with the vision to reach the highest possible level.

You will be well-versed in every aspect of eSports - watching and playing - across all platforms, developers, and genres. You will spend your life at the very forefront of eSports news and views, understanding how to source and create content that will excite our fans into accelerated engagement.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Creating engaging content across Facebook, Instagram and, to a lesser extent, Twitter
  • Sourcing Twitch clips, gifs, memes, in-house news or guides to drive traffic to the site
  • Interacting with fans and working with the Paid Social Media experts to increase following
  • Calendar special days for big tournaments and potential live-coverage
  • Calendar special "Dota Days", or other themed days or weekends

What we can offer:

  • The opportunity to be involved in a funded eSports project with real-world value
  • Remote working, with weekly paydays
  • Opportunity for advancement within the company and financially

What you need:

  • Excellent written English skills
  • A fluid and natural understanding of almost all eSports
  • Super, super keen

Please apply with a short introduction on yourself and why you think you would be perfect for this job. Do you have experience in social media or built large followings before? Get in touch!
