Location: Burbank, CA

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Comprehensive knowledge and experience producing throughout the development, pre-production, production and post-production process, and ability to lead a team through those processes. Be prepared to help build something great.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Plan, schedule, prep and execute shoots/productions, building Runs of Shows, scripts, edit templates, and other tools to lead production & post-production.
  • Working with and producing/directing talent. Including conducting interviews, directing scripted and unscripted projects, and all normal producer functions.
  • Working with and managing crews from pre-production through delivery to client/publishing, including setting and executing production & deliverables pipelines & schedules.
  • Expert client-facing skills, anticipating, meeting and exceeding their expectations.
  • Build budgets based on pitches to industry standard, and execute on that budget.
  • Production project management, including owning quality control and assurances
  • Assist on pitches, including ideation, writing copy, assisting on slide deck creation
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for content creation, including budgeting and scheduling

WHAT WE NEED TO SEE

  • Experience: 8+ years combined producing in studio/on location/in post. 2+ years working in esports or gaming related content
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited institution in Media/Film/TV/Entertainment/Broadcast or equivalent
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Proficient with Google Drive, Docs, Spreadsheets and Slides.
  • Knowledge of video-camera theory, audio recording theory, and experience with digital cinema as well as video cameras on productions
  • A track record of excelling with little supervision and previous experience being singularly accountable for tasks and projects
  • Ability to thrive and take charge despite ambiguity
  • Ability to shift tasks and even projects to meet the ever-changing ad hoc nature of production and post production. Flexibility to adapt with changing timelines and deliverables
  • Proficient soft skills in communication, teamwork, adaptability, problem solving, work ethic, time management, and accountability,etc. No ego, a collaborative mindset and approach to all tasks
  • Ability to plan, organize, execute and meet deadlines at a high level
  • Desire to learn and expand your abilities and take on new responsibilities and grow with the company
  • Craft and maintain resources (scripts, summaries, templates, tracking documents, etc)
  • Conduct research around the game/project, its community, player base, fan base, professional scene, and all relevant show topics
  • Commission and provide creative feedback on graphics, opens, and all media elements in conjunction with the creative team
  • Ability to take and give direction/notes and implement them
  • Act as the expert level quality assurance and quality control by reviewing all show graphics, music, audio, and all media elements prior to delivery
  • Communicate and escalate issues to relevant project leads, project manager, and executive producer/account manager
  • Experience managing multiple projects and multiple priorities in high-stress, time sensitive environments
  • Ability to manage other producers and/or production teams in order to meet deadlines
  • Passion for video games and interactive media
  • Effective leadership and communication within a team environment
  • Emphasis on organization and attention to detail
  • Proactive and positive team player
  • Solid technical background in production, including a thorough knowledge of cameras, lighting, framing, workflows, etc.
