Front End Developer

Position is located in Columbus, OH

Job Overview

The Front End Developer will be responsible for using modern web technology and frameworks to help develop front-end platforms. Individuals in this role will be responsible for writing testable code with a high percentage of coverage.

Core Responsibilities

  • Development of front end apps and interfaces utilizing HTML, CSS and javascript frameworks.
  • Develop tests, unit and/or functional, that integrate into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Design, contribute to, and execute front end deployment processes for UI and assets.
  • Development of front-end code in accordance with development team roadmap.
  • Ensure quality and security of code and product through the development and execution of tests.
  • Consultation with development team on progress, blockers and next steps.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with relevant workcenters to receive and incorporate feedback.

Requirements​

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in front end design and implementation.
  • 1-3 years of experience in working on the development of a shipped product (internal or external).
  • Proven ability in React, Vue.js or other javascript frameworks.
  • Proficiency with Sass, Less and/or CSS Modules.
  • Proficiency with Git, GitHub or GitLab.
  • Experience with CI/CD workflows.
  • Ability to build and debug a REST API client.
  • Proven experience with writing high-performance, reusable components.
  • Proven experience with testing frameworks, both unit and functional.
  • Remarkable technical, organizational, time management, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization, with a drive for results, collaboration, and seeing a project through from start to finish.

Pluses

  • A passion for esports and video games.
  • Background in Infosec or Appsec.
  • Understanding of esports programs, ecosystems, and events.
  • Degree in Computer Science, or related field.
