ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The Creative Producer will be responsible for all aspects of the creative process, from concept to execution, on any given project/broadcast. Coordination with clients, as well as with cross-departmental team members, will inform the Creative Producer’s decisions and give them supportive direction in developing and executing the best broadcast possible. From core document creation (Run of Show, GFX Asset List, etc.) to show narrative crafting, the Creative Producer will need to think creatively, engage in action-driven dialogues, execute on their proposed vision, and be willing to pivot when things change. This industry is constantly growing and changing, so the Creative Producer will need to adapt, innovate, and consistently drive for improvement and evolution, big or small. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Lead a show’s creative vision as the key contributor from beginning to end
  • Craft a show’s flow and narrative by creating run of show documents and other resources
  • Identify, describe, and pitch broadcast segments and key show beats for implementation
  • Interface with client and / or client servicing teams around the creative elements of a show, to convey direction and iterate together on the client’s goals and overall creative vision
  • Work alongside the production team during our live broadcasts either directly on the line (in control room, broadcast truck, or other environment), or in a more consultative role
  • Contribute creative perspective and project insights to internal stakeholders as well as client before, during, and after a project is executed
  • Oversee and guide overall creative direction of shoulder content, post-produced content, and media packages in conjunction with post production team
  • Craft and revise resources (scripts, summaries, etc.) to provide narrative direction for our talent, producers, and client
  • Act as quality assurance by reviewing all show graphics, music, audio, and media pieces prior to the show going live
  • Communicate and escalate issues and / or ideas to relevant project leads, project manager, and executive producer/account manager
  • Advise on set design and decor during sales and product ideation stage, as well as providing ongoing consulting and oversight from a creative perspective

WHAT WE NEED TO SEE

  • 5+ years of experience owning production projects
  • Experience managing simultaneous large-scale projects and multiple priorities in time sensitive environments
  • Proficient soft skills in communication, teamwork, adaptability, problem solving, work ethic, time management, and accountability
  • A track record of excelling with little supervision and previous experience being singularly accountable for multiple tasks and projects
  • Ability to effectively coach / mentor junior members of the creative team
  • The desire for a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • A collaborative mindset and approach to all tasks
  • A willingness to take charge in ambiguity, shift tasks (and even projects) to meet the ever-changing, ad hoc nature of production and post production

PLUSES

  • Experience working in TV or streaming production environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Media, Film, TV, or Entertainment; or equivalent field of study
  • A passion for video games, interactive media, and technology
