Purpose of the Role:

This is a newly established role for Esports Awards Ltd following an exciting period of growth and transition for the company. The successful applicant will quickly establish themselves as the key member of the team in facilitating partnerships for the Esports Awards.

The role requires someone who is confident in working independently and with the ability to support and work with a partner from conception through to delivery. It is critical the successful candidate can build and sustain long term relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

General Responsibilities

The Partnerships Manager is responsible for supporting the sales process and running the sales diary and calendar for the wider team. Attention to detail is a must.

On top of this there may be other duties and tasks from time to time that require support, these will be in line with the roles core duties and provide an opportunity to be involved in tenders and proposals that support and develop the business.

Scope

The Jobholder will liaise with their existing personal commercial network, research & target new business contacts and explore opportunities on the existing CRM in order to add value to the Esports Awards sales programme. Personal Specification

  • 3-5 years’ experience of partnership experience
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is an advantage
  • A strong eye for opportunities and aptitude to deliver
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Creative thinker with confidence to try new ideas and accept a challenge
  • Ability to work quickly from brief
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • A people person with a good sense of humour
  • Meet and exceed partnership targets
  • Presentation and project management skills
  • Happy to travel
  • A passion for and a keen understanding of the gaming and esports worlds

Key Skills and Accountabilities

  • Create a systematic, process-driven approach to partner outreach and relationship management
  • Collaborate with senior management and other marketing teammates to align our internal goals with new and existing partner relationships
  • Deliver a great experience to our partners when working with our organization - you will represent our brand and be our partners’ liaison internally
  • Keep a great ongoing relationship with current partners and offer new ways to grow the partnership
  • Forecast, measure, and report the results of various projects with partners, including co-created and/or co-branded content promotions, lead sharing, and/or event partnerships
  • Adding value, aiding the wider team in reaching their event revenue targets
  • Effective use of CRM
  • Weekly reporting to Group Head of Sales and Esports Awards CEO
  • Working with the operations department to match or exceed client expectations
  • Overseeing contract fulfilment and payments
  • Manage own targets and sales pipeline, along with the Head of Sales
  • Continuously seek ways to improve personal, team and business performance
  • To aid the Operations Department at the Esports Awards
  • Hands on/ can do approach/ attitude
