The Assistant Operations Manager is responsible for supporting the Assistant General Manager and Operations Manager in the management of daily venue operations to ensure a positive, safe and profitable work environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the Assistant General Manager and Operations Manager as needed
  • Assist the Operations Manager in the management of daily venue operations
  • Assist the Operations Manager in conducting daily ordering, for assigned departments
  • Monitor labor, sales and general Arena flow, and assist the Operations Manager in making sound business decisions on staffing levels on a shift by shift basis
  • Assist in training employees
  • Interact with guests frequently to ensure satisfaction and enjoyment of all Esports amenities
  • Respond to any guest complaints and take appropriate action
  • Engage in trouble-shooting and issue resolution as needed
  • Actively participate in the building of employee morale
  • Provide input into the research, development, evaluation and implementation of new products, services, technology and processes to ensure competitive position and in anticipation of changing guest needs within the dynamic Esports Arena environment

OTHER DUTIES:

  • Comply with company policies and operating procedure manual
  • Maintain knowledge and utilize computer software programs applicable to the department, i.e Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, etc.
  • Maintain a good awareness of changes in trends, techniques, and client needs, and communicate that information effectively in staff and department meetings
  • Meets attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies
  • Adhere to confidentiality rules and all other company policies, procedure and rules as presented by Esports Arena, Las Vegas
  • Perform other job duties as assigned and participate in special projects at management’s request

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of college education in a related field and/or equivalent work experience in Hospitality Industry
  • At least 1 year of previous management experience in a high-volume venue, preferably in a resort environment
  • Experience in resolving disputes, inquiries, and complaints from customers
  • Previous experience in Food & Beverage, and Arena setting preferred
  • General understanding of Food and Beverage Inventory Management
  • Must be able to work flexible hours
  • Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift

Salary: $39,500 /year
