Job purpose

You will create and manage workflows regarding data protection matters for all ESL entities world-wide. Also, you will manage day-to-day operational aspects of key projects to ensure, evaluate and monitor privacy compliance. For this, you will be working together with all departments of the company, meeting and connecting people from diverse business fields such as event, marketing, IT and legal, to gather and structure processes that involve the use of personal data. You will have the opportunity to streamline digital processes and at the same time keeping our data and the data of our users and partners safe.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Track project progress, report status on a regular basis and provide feedback to contribute to the improvement of processes, tasks, and milestones
• Meet and connect key players of data processing within the company to insure international alignment
• Map and structure processing activities of personal data that happens within the company
• Engage with stakeholders in a proactive, ongoing basis to ensure accurate project status, and identification/awareness of issues/risks
• Keep up to date on new developments within the company that concern data protection
• Help create a work environment and materials that make it easy to be an innovative fast-moving digital company that at the same time fully lives up to the privacy level of the GDPR, e.g. by conducting training for the employees together with the Data Protection Manager

• Strong project management skills
• Organizational and time management skills to complete work with accuracy and attention to detail
• Communicative, open-minded and team player mentality
• Able to manage multiple, concurrent projects with various stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
• Good computer skills, in particular knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint and/or Google Sheets and Google Slides
• Bachelor’s Degree in project management or other management- or business-related degree
• Prior knowledge or work experience in the area of data protection is a plus
• Interest in data protection
• Having a passion for the E-Sport industry is a plus
