The Project Manager is responsible for delivering every esports project on time within budget and scope. He/she acts as an intermediary between the different function teams, both within and outside of the organisation, and oversee the overall progression of the various assignments. The Project Manager should also be able to work efficiently in high pressure situations and possess critical problem solving skills.

Future tasks and responsibility:

  • Work closely with internal ESL teams to ensure successful project management and execution and that the sales goals for the relevant strategic key accounts are met.
  • Managing our current clients and building relationships with potential clients in Japan.
  • Independently identify market/growth potential, observe the competitors, and know their service spectrum, price structure, and price policy.
  • Independently advise (top) management regarding strategic customers and potential new customers.

Skills & Requirements

Must have’s:

  • Strong client facing and internal communication skills.
  • Experience working in a live and fast moving environment.
  • Good understanding and love of video games and/or esports - Experience in the field is a strong plus.
  • Fully capable in building and maintaining relationships with clients and delivering on campaign objectives and KPI’s.
  • Fluency in verbal and written English and Japanese (native).
  • Flexibility to work varying hours, including nights or weekends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite tools.
  • Living in Japan - Preferable Tokyo.

Nice to have’s:

  • Experience in planning and working in event project teams.
  • 2+ years account management experience.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt and help others.
  • Familiarity with ESL products
