At ESL, the world’s largest esports company, we create unforgettable gaming experiences. We’re looking for a seasoned Marketing and Social Media professional with a passion for building community and a commitment to shaping the future of esports and gaming in North America.
Responsibilities:
- Ideate and activate cohesive Marketing strategies based on business objectives and priorities across the ESL portfolio of products
- Develop multi-channel Marketing and promotional campaigns and manage day-to-day initiatives and budgets
- Ensure on-brand creation and fulfillment of assets across a variety of Marketing channels
- Drive paid digital and Social Media Marketing strategies
- Work cross-functionally with global teams across multiple disciplines including Production, Operations, PR, Sales and others to articulate product and brand vision to local constituents
- Oversee local, grassroots Marketing teams/brand ambassadors in-market and ensure effective communication and resource efficiency
- Develop and cultivate key strategic relationships with stakeholders including venues, partners, agencies and other third-party service providers
- Leverage consumer and market insights to assess campaign effectiveness, setting KPI’s to measure overall success
- Collaborate with external event stakeholders to execute relevant and impactful co-promotional opportunities
- Stay up-to-date and ahead of trends across the esports/gaming and live events space
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business or related field
- Masters a plus
- 5+ years of progressive Marketing experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of sports, esports and entertainment industry
- Strong background in digital and social campaign activation both organic and paid
- Proficiency and deep understanding of analytics platforms/tools including SEM/SEO, Google Analytics, Twitter/Facebook Analytics, etc…
- Experience working in dynamic and complex organizations
- Cursory knowledge of ticketing vendors and software
