As part of our Publisher/Developer team with ESL out of our US office in Burbank, CA, you would be working on global initiatives for competitive esports titles. Do you have experience in both traditional marketing and games publishing? Are you able to tie both marketing beats and production objectives together to form a fun and compelling narrative? Do you know esports products like the back of your hand? Then we would like you to join our Pub/Dev Team!

Your responsibilities would include:

  • A strong knowledge and understanding of esports products and what is required to make them successful
  • Building competitive programs and bringing creative visions to life for our key partners
  • Position yourself as the key contact for partners during program development & execution phases with the goal of building successful long-term partnerships
  • Coordinating across multiple departments and global offices to ensure streamlined execution, communication and completion of goals across all accounts
  • Work closely with all members of the ESL team to ensure partner experience is excellent every time

Skills you bring:

  • A self starter with an understanding of esports ecosystems, broadcasts, all they involve and a desire to push past perceived boundaries
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a charismatic attitude that helps you direct all involved parties in a professional and engaging manner towards a successful program execution
  • A management guru that can juggle several projects, while keeping the goals of your partner in mind, keep them all on track without breaking a sweat and use your solution-based mindset to solve various problems that arise along the way
  • An out of the box thinker that is always looking to stay on the cutting edge with new ideas around competitive programs & entertaining content, and knows how to drive viewership
  • The ability to seek challenges, be flexible on changing tech, goals, and become immersed in the ever evolving landscape of esports

Experience:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in an esports or publisher and developer industry
  • Knowledge of the gaming industry is a must
  • A degree in a relevant field

Bonus points for:

  • Product or program manager within the esports space
  • Proven network with existing relationships in the game publishing world
  • A strong desire to learn about and explore all the gaming space has to offer
  • Ability to build rapport with internal stakeholders
  • Additional spoken/written foreign languages are a huge plus
