As Fan Value/Performance Marketing Manager you are responsible for implementing and developing internal customer value management CRM and automatic communication activities (Email campaigns) for the entire suite of ESL’s end user experience. Your goal is to maximize fan’s spend and usage levels on ESL’s mobile apps, ecommerce channels, tickets, subscriptions, microtransactions, websites and live broadcasts through a variety of means. You will build the journey (develop/create strategies) and improve all phases of a fan’s life cycle, increasing user satisfaction and monetization with specific focuses on acquisition, cross-selling, and retention, and help prioritize initiatives by determining business value. You will be in charge of Performance Marketing/User Analysis and interact closely with Marketing, Tech, Analytics and Product teams to develop, implement, and measure solutions. Your creativity and outside-the-box thinking inspires colleagues.

This is a remote position with the ideal candidate residing in Europe, preferably in the GMT+1 time zone.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead value/performance for inbound Marketing

  • Build the journey and Identify pain points and moments of delight within the same using data including surveys, NPS and research - and creation of plans to address/amplify

  • Develop and regularly review/optimize retention and deliverability upselling KPIs

  • Assess risks & opportunities in product development as well as run engagement analysis

  • Identify and work with customer segments and individual value propositions, sharing learnings with Product and Marketing teams

  • Be curious about consumer interactions and think about how we can make them better and more sticky

  • Work at the intersection of tech, data, business, and marketing, and be comfortable with terminology from all these fields (focus on Performance)

  • Develop and test hypotheses on how to improve fan monetization/upscale KPI’s

  • Manage Marketing projects and work cross-functionally with Tech, Product, Analytics, stakeholders and Marketing teams

What you need:

  • 3+ years of work experience in email/performance marketing as well as marketing automation

  • Experience in Customer Value Management or related Digital Marketing topics

  • Project Management Experience

  • Good understanding of B2C business practices (retention marketing/deliverability…etc)

  • Good understanding of engagement analysis

  • Good understanding/knowledge of Esports industry and products (CS:GO in particular is a Big Plus)

  • Working with and reading data comes to you naturally

  • Solid understanding of how user interaction and marketing works in relation to product engagement.

  • Natural curiosity

  • Very good command of spoken and written English (mandatory)
