Well then WP, because you are exactly the type of thinker that we need.

We are looking for a senior brand strategist or strategy director from an agency (or comparable) background, who has a proven track record of working with the biggest brands in the world, ideally across different markets, with a strong passion and knowledge of the E&G industry.

Future Tasks

  • Develop brand driven, top notch, high-level and long-term esports strategies that add value to global tier one brands, media and publisher partners
  • Initiate and ideate award winning creative ideas and concepts
  • Be thought leader for best-in-class integrated marketing campaigns / branded content strategies and campaigns
  • Drive innovation by creating transformative growth strategies and ideas both for brands and for esports
  • Work collaboratively with a cross-functional, international team of esports experts, from product managers, marketing, business development and account management teams as well as with our global sales teams in order to create the best solution
  • Inspire and challenge our creative teams and our business partners with uncovered information and distilling insights
  • Lead platform and proposal development for the Global Brand Partnerships Group supporting new business, upsells and renewal

Job requirements

Profile

  • Level: At least Senior
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience (w/o internships) in developing brand- and communication strategies for international brands at a brand consulting firm or a top agency
  • Data and insight driven. Savy in sourcing, analyzing & evaluating consumer, consumption and cultural/social trends as well as conducting and evaluating quantitative and qualitative research with the goal of deriving relevant brand and target group insights
  • Proficient in developing excellent creative ideas from insights and accompany the creative ideation process
  • Confident and to the point in creating pitch-winning storylines and presentations
  • Impetus for topics related to brand, trends and benchmark cases
  • Knowledge of Esports & Gaming landscape and trends
  • Positive, collaborative and problem-solving approach
  • Experience in branded content activation in (e)sports/entertainment is a plus
  • Proficient in English

  • Proficient in Brand Strategy PLUS Comms / Social Media Strategy
  • Deep Understanding of cultural and behavioral trends & topics
  • Interest in tech innovations and their practical implications
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data sets quickly
  • Ability to consult on the topic of brand / comms strategy
  • Ability to think across platforms, online, offline, social, tech, innovations, etc.
  • Ability to receive constructive feedback and have a healthy discussion
  • Ability to moderate workshops and discussion groups, draft conclusions from them
  • Strong presentation skills
