In the role of Account Manager, you will be working closely with the ESL UK business development team and be responsible for the account management and servicing of all UK clients within the ESL portfolio. You will form a key part of the UK sales & marketing operations team, reporting directly into the Head of Business Development UK.

The Account Manager role will be responsible for delivering superior client services for each ESL client, ensuring all campaigns and activations post-sales are executed to the highest possible standards at all times. You will also be involved in developing and administering account management plans and processes to expand and maintain ESL UK’s customer base, enhance customer satisfaction and achieve sales objectives for key accounts in line with business and sales objectives.

The role will sit in-between external ESL clients and internal ESL product teams and will facilitate all business conversations and campaign management operations. This will include ensuring campaigns are set up and activated correctly and on time; regular communication with senior clients during campaign activation; post campaign support/reporting; and along with the wider sales team, up-selling and organic growth of key client accounts where applicable. There will be opportunities to learn and develop in this role as you will be working with the senior team daily to grow new and existing business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with internal ESL product teams to ensure successful campaign management and execution and that the sales goals for the relevant strategic key accounts are met
  • Plan and control acquisition, proposal preparation, customer support, and customer consulting
  • Responsible for all communication with clients post-sale
  • Regular communication and where necessary weekly calls with the client to optimize performance
  • Creation and delivery of detailed post campaign reports
  • Identifying areas of improvement and along with sales initiating new ideas and activations to the client in order to drive incremental revenue
  • Independently identify market/growth potential, observe the competitors, and know their service spectrum, price structure, and price policy
  • Independently advise (top) management regarding strategic customers and potential new customers

Skills & Requirements

Must have’s:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or more than 4 years of equivalent experience/qualification
  • Proven track record in campaign management, operations and client servicing
  • Experience within the media, advertising or sports & entertainment industry and working with major advertising agencies or clients directly
  • Able to demonstrate examples of successful project management of key client accounts
  • Strong digital and social media experience
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects of varying complexity
  • Established contact network within the UK marketing & media industry
  • Excellent communication and time management
  • Team player and eager to help grow the ESL business
