Who we are:
ESA Esports & Digital Media is a new eSports organization that will host local & international tournaments and leagues as well as creating digital content for video gaming & esports audience. Although recently established, with its own dedicated esports arena and production studios, ESA aims to be the biggest player in Turkey and the neighbouring regions.
We are now establishing a young & energetic new team made up of gaming and esports enthusiasts who see gaming as the profession of the future.
We are currently looking for a driven, analytical and creative esports & video gaming crazy social media expert / manager to help us build our social media platforms as quickly as possible. You will spend your life at the very forefront of esports and gaming news and views, understanding how to source and create content that will engage our fans continuously and grow our viewership mostly organically.
Responsibilities:
- The development of social media Go to Market strategies
- Keeping ESA's social media channels always on with accurate and efficient content
- Responsible for managing the planning & execution of multiple paid, earned and owned social campaigns
- Allocating Social Marketing budget by campaign and by channel which delivers exceptional ROI
- Using data and analytics to continuously shape and optimize plans
- Managing key stakeholders, work cross-functionally with internal team and key partners
- Creating engaging content (excluding graphic design) across social media platforms such as Instagram, Youtube, Twitch, Twitter.. etc.
- Sourcing Twitch clips, gifs, memes, in-house news or guides to drive traffic to the site.
- Creating tournament/league highlights to create “fun to watch” summaries of the games played, together with the video graphics team.
- Interacting with fans and working with professional social media experts to increase and protect the number of followers.
- Keeping up with all social trends (both in video gaming/esports & also other similar entertainment industries) to promote growth.
- Developing comprehensive reporting to articulate social and creator influencer campaign impact from tournaments or other digital content produced by ESA.
Requirements:
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- 3-4 years in the digital space with experience delivering successful social, creator and influencer programs across channels such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Twitch or other emerging social platforms
- A strong data-driven, consumer-centric approach to content and community building
- Passion about competitive video games
- A proven understanding of social media analytics
- Strong strategic orientation balancing the analytical with the creative
- A proactive problem solver with a focus on delivering results
- An organizer with an eye for detail, and time-management
- Good understanding of esports industry, the community identity and youth
- Experience in developing and executing social influencer campaigns in partnership with marketing and communications partners
- Excited by creating unique and innovative ideas and executing with high-quality standards, adhering the strict deadlines
- Intense interest in social media, creators and celebrity influencers
- Super energetic positive attitude, a strong sense of humour, and a hearty appetite for team growth.
