What You’ll Do
Epic Games is looking for a UI Director who will work closely with Art, Brand, Creative, and Business leadership to define, evolve, and elevate the visual direction of all UI and visual interface design systems in Fortnite. This role focuses on visual impact and strategic vision within the interface system to ensure that players always understand goals and intent at every touchpoint.
This role places emphasis on striving for clarity and elegance while always delivering incredible visual quality.
In this role, you will
- Maintain the visual brand consistency across every touchpoint
- Identify key areas within the current UI to improve and innovate
- Quickly prototype, visualize and pitch ideas across teams
- Lead and develop visual designers within the team
- Create unified direction and briefs per project
- Extend the Fortnite fantasy in varying degrees in the Fortnite ecosystem
What We’re Looking For
- Strong graphic design, layout, color palette, and typography
- Deep knowledge across design and prototyping software
- Strong communication skills
- Understanding of motion design and timing
- You’re user-focused, passionate, scrappy, solutions-focused, and innovative
