Epic's Education & Learning team provides accessible ways for current and aspiring creators to learn the real-time 3D tools and skills they need to be successful.

What You’ll Do

We are looking for individuals that are passionate about creating engaging learning experiences and helping others learn technical skills. Ideal candidates have a background in technical writing, instructional design, teaching or education. For more technical roles we look for candidates that have experience using our tools in production.

The Training Program Manager is charged with supporting the training needs of Unreal Engine Customers, as well as our instructors and 30+ training partners who deliver over 500 classes each year.

Working as an integral part of the Unreal Education Learning and Training team, the Training Program Manager is responsible for all training program scheduling including customized training for key accounts, classroom training, and training events.

You will liaise with different stakeholders, i.e. our instructors, authorized training partners, regional sales teams, and local training coordinators to produce the best possible training calendars to address the training needs of our customers. The Training Program Manager will take end-to-end ownership of custom training engagements, from the opportunity identification through to training delivery and follow up.

In this role, you will

  • Manage training calendar including classroom training, training events, and customized onsite training and webinars
  • Work closely with senior management and business development leads to prioritize training engagements and manage department workload
  • Produce custom training for key accounts
  • Produce monthly training events including securing the venue, coordinating technical setup, planning catering, and tracking budget
  • Provide reports, analysis and recommendations
  • Oversee local training coordinators based in Epic classroom locations
  • Maintain standards of operations, including infrastructure and equipment
  • Stay well-informed on Epic customer industry trends, pipelines and challenges
  • Maintain relationships with training departments at key accounts to collaborate on ongoing training programs
  • Nurture a network of trusted resources such as vendors and training partner
  • Provide support for other marketing and writing activities related to training

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Education, Architecture, Games, Film and VFX, or equivalent work experience in related fields
  • 5 years experience in administration or project management for educational, consulting or events organizations
  • Strong sense of professionalism and a high level of customer service
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Ability to effectively capture technical requirements from key stakeholders
  • Experience using learning management systems, course scheduling software or event management software is a plus
  • Experience with computer graphics software used in architecture, animation, film and broadcast, advertising or manufacturing is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce is a plus
  • Flexibility for occasional work outside of regular business hours
