What You'll Do

Epic seeks an experienced Product Marketer to enable creators and brands to build successful experiences and businesses in the metaverse using Epic’s tools and games. This role will help the existing team establish a new function within the Metaverse Development team that will collaborate on building, launching and scaling products such as Fortnite Creative and new monetization tools.

This role will contribute to assessing market needs to influence new product development, segment stakeholders, identify risk, and develop growth plans for creators and brands. This role will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Publishing, Marketing, Growth and Go-To-Market teams. A successful candidate will have strengths in cross functional leadership, strategic planning, analytical skills and resilience as well as a strong competence in gaming, UGC ecosystems and creator platforms.

In this role, you will

  • Be the voice of partners in the product development and iteration process to ensure that we are always building positive player experiences created by a growing community of creators and brands

  • Contribute direct and aggregated creator insights to product strategy across multiple product areas and drive launch plans, feedback and growth go-to-market solutions

  • Maintain and contribute to a comprehensive stakeholder segmentation for creators and brands

  • Facilitate and contribute to comprehensive partner enablement for creators and brands

  • Collaborate closely with our Growth and analytics teams to align partner feedback with measurable insights

  • Serve as a key collaborator with Creator Community, Product and Partner teams of both Epic and partner companies

What we're looking for

  • Deep experience in technology, internet platforms, gaming and/or media industries

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, product strategy, management

  • Experience scaling products for creators and/or UGC

  • Experience working with bringing brands on to social platforms

  • Experience influencing and communicating cross-functionally at all levels

The expected annual base salary range for this position is $197,000 - $255,000*. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren’t limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic’s generous benefit plans and long-term incentives (subject to the terms of those plans) and receive discretionary bonuses when awarded by the company.
