Epic Games is looking for a Marketplace Support Representative to join our on-site team as a contractor. The person in this role will help content creators prepare their products for the Unreal Engine Marketplace by interacting with talented teams from various industries, engage with community members to build solid working relationships, and providing detailed feedback on unreleased products.

The person in this role will be responsible for the following:

  • Reviewing Marketplace submissions and providing feedback to our content creators
  • Assisting customers with support related issues and investigating claims
  • Reviewing customer issues and escalating if needed by understanding the “bigger picture”
  • Helping supplement documentation by converting answers discovered while supporting customers into official learning resources content

The ideal candidate will have a mix of the qualifications below:

  • Strong focus on customer service
  • Displays an interest for a specific development focus such as (but not limited to) networking, animation, advanced visual effects, lighting, rendering, gameplay programming, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of quality assurance researching and logging defects in a bug tracking system
  • Experience providing technical support for customers
  • Experience in game or simulation development using any engine
  • Experience using Unreal Engine 4, Perforce, ElectricCommander, Salesforce, or Jira
  • Participating in various support-related processes and report creation
  • C++ experience
