What you’ll do

Epic Games is searching for a Learning & Development Manager who will drive and deliver Learning and Development programs and experiences to the talented people who use our technology and make our games globally. We are looking for a strategic, people loving, motivated and customer service oriented L&D professional who is comfortable living in the grey. This exciting role partners with Epic’s HRBPs, leaders and external partners to craft program strategy and approach, as well as gets deep into the details of creating and delivering content. This is a unique opportunity to create programs from the ground up while remaining close to the business.

In this role, you will

  • Partner with an external partner to develop and implement a reimagined and authentic leadership development program focused on first time managers as well as managers new to Epic
  • Partner with the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion leader to develop and implement a learning and development program with a DEI focus. Include all relevant DEI sessions into leadership development and other learning paths.
  • Manage and improve as needed on our executive and leadership coaching programs including managing external partners
  • Partner with leadership and HR to deploy enterprise programs and execute change initiatives
  • Partner with HR Programs teams such as Talent Management, Compensation, Benefits, Onboarding, etc. to design, build and implement strategies to support key initiatives
  • Help us select and maintain an LMS system or other tech solution
  • Partner with business leaders on individual team capability and skill development needs
  • Manage Epic’s tuition reimbursement program globally
  • Drive Epic’s Learning and Development philosophy and approach through partnership with various cross-functional teams
  • Be a key member of the HR Programs team, collaborating across all programs, Diversity and Inclusion and with HRBPs to ensure an amazing employee experience
  • Travel to locations may be required as need to support business needs and training delivery

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum 10+ years of Learning and Development or HR experience combined. Experience with both Program Management and Instructional Design is a plus!
  • Able to exceed and deliver results in a complex global fast pace organisation.
  • Experience deploying large scale programs with eye on managing expectations, globally is a plus
  • Expertise in navigating within ambiguous situations, with high levels of autonomy
  • Able to deal with change and desire to make a difference is paramount, we are looking for someone who loves to build from the ground up
  • Excellent program management skills
  • Current, in-depth knowledge of Learning and Development best practices and trends, willing to think outside the box
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfort working in a virtual environment
  • Someone who is user-focused, passionate, scrappy, solutions-focused, and innovative. These traits equal success at Epic and influence everything we do.
