Epic is seeking a lead full-stack engineer for the Epic Games Store .

As digital game distribution grows, we have an incredible opportunity to innovate. Our Store provides content creators with powerful tools and equitable terms while delivering an integrated, intuitive experience for consumers. We hope to leverage our growth in order to push the boundaries of what an online marketplace can be.
In this role you will operate as a player/coach, leading a small team to architect and implement features on the Epic Games Store. You’ll work with designers and front end developers, using the latest web technologies to build a world-class content distribution platform. Qualifications
- Passion for crafting secure, scalable, and highly available consumer web applications
- Experience architecting and leading innovative, complex web projects
- Experience operating as a technical lead or people manager
- Experience collaborating with a variety of strategic stakeholders to bring a product vision to life
- Deep knowledge of JavaScript, Typescript, and frameworks like React, Node, and GraphQL
- Functional programming know-how
- Experience with cloud technologies (we use AWS)
- Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases
