FINANCE/ACCOUNTING
What We Do
Our Finance and Accounting teams build the financial infrastructure to scale our growing company. We combine analytical and strategic thinking to develop a sound financial future for our global brand. We work closely with teams across the company, international subsidiaries, as well as with external partners to ensure a world-class finance organization. Our team contains experts from fields like tax, treasury, purchasing, FP&A, and more.
What You'll Do
Integration manager - Finance
In This Role You Will
- Accounting lead on integration of all acquisitions and investments.
- Identify ongoing technical and operational accounting issues for acquired entities and ensure integration of Epic accounting policies
- Along with the Policies/Controls prime, provide support to the worldwide team on technical USGAAP accounting matters/questions for each newly acquired entity and help implement the accounting policies therein.
- Participate in new accounting guidance roll-out initiatives as applied to newly acquired entities(e.g. ASC842, CECL etc.)
- Work with the revenue team on any revenue recognition related matters, on an as needed basis for each newly acquired entity
- Look for opportunities to eliminate redundant finance/accounting effort across entities
- Coordinate the roll out of shared services within each newly acquired entity
- Manage ongoing effort for newly acquired companies to integrate into Workday, with focus on:
- US GAAP vs statutory accounting differences
- Conversion of legacy systems to WD
- Impact of purchase accounting on local GL
- Coordinate the finance/accounting effort to implement strategic initiatives identified for each separate acquisition
- Work with International Team and External Consultants on IFRS related matters, as and when required.
- Ensure each newly acquired entity is fully integrated from accounting/finance perspective before finalizing effort with that entity.
- Provide monthly / quarterly summaries of accounting developments to Senior Management.
What We're Looking For
- Strong knowledge of USGAAP
- Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions.
- Demonstrated ability to work in and with high-performing teams
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
- Solid analytical and technical skills.
- Independent and self-starter with a “can-do” attitude
- Hands-on, flexible, and a team player able to function in a fast paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and experience with working in ERP systems
Remaining Skills Needed
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting.
- Master’s degree a plus
- CPA/CMA preferred
- 10 years+ of combined Public and Private Industry accounting experience
- SOX experience (desirable)
