As Head of Influencer Partnerships, you will lead Epic’s global strategy & execution of all Influencer & Artist relationships. Along with your distributed team of influencer marketing and partnership experts you will work closely with every Epic business unit and the senior leadership team to ensure these vital partnerships create value for all involved. Epic business units include: Game Publishing (Fortnite, Spyjinx, Battle Breakers), Psyonix (Rocket League), Epic Games Store, Epic Games Publishing, Epic Online Services, Unreal Engine, Unreal Enterprise, and TwinMotion.
Responsibilities
- Champion the needs & growth of Epic influencers. Recruit and retain new influencers to our products & services.
- Work closely with business owners and campaign leads to execute influencer partnerships. Support relationships with existing influencer partners, build new relationships with extrinsic influencers.
- Manage and grow an internal team of 6+ excellent influencer marketing pros. Recruit and hire additional staff as required.
- Supervise multiple external Influencer agencies, run the agency review & search process as required to accomplish goals.
- Business owner of the Epic Support-a-Creator affiliate program. Review program efficacy and work closely with internal and external developer stakeholders to maintain and improve the program.
- Accountable for the global influencer budget management, partnering closely with marketing and finance leadership on quarterly goals and investment levels
- Help set objectives across influencer marketing team against their own performance, represent team performance in leadership performance evaluations
- Develop recommendations for new growth initiatives & partnerships that increase customer acquisition & retention
Qualifications
- BA/BS, MBA or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years experience, 5+ years of influencer/social focused work, with recent experience in earned and paid influencer partnerships. Have pioneered new influencer partnership models & programs that drove measurable business results
- Outgoing individual with excellent communication, interpersonal skills and work ethic
- Full understanding of partnership ROI analysis: how it works, attribution models
- Experience working worldwide, and managing globally distributed teams
- MCN and talent agency contacts at both senior and junior levels required
- Demonstrated ability to partner with brand, creative and product teams
- Proven success managing a team, including a record of successful mentorship and training
- Ability to easily transition from high level strategic thinking to detailed execution
- Ability to juggle a range of projects across teams, balancing quality and speed
