Epic seeks a full-stack web engineer to craft social experiences at Fortnite scale. The Social team at Epic builds Social Platform products, including Houseparty and Epic Games Social Overlay and Fortnite web integrations. Social at Epic is about empowering users to share virtual experiences with their friends and loved-ones.
As a full stack member of our team, you’ll leverage your deep understanding of web development to solve complex technical challenges with innovative solutions. You will collaborate with an experienced team at the forefront of social gaming, in order to provide an exceptional experience for our users. Qualifications
- Passion for crafting secure, scalable, and highly available web applications
- Experience architecting and leading innovative, complex web projects
- Experience collaborating with a variety of strategic stakeholders to bring a product vision to life
- Deep knowledge of JavaScript, Typescript, and frameworks like React, Node, and GraphQL
- Experience with cloud technologies (we use AWS)
- Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases
