Our Finance and Accounting teams build the financial infrastructure to scale our growing company. Our team contains experts from fields like tax, treasury, purchasing, FP&A, and more.

What you’ll do

We’re looking for a Disbursements Accounting Manager to join our Corporate Accounting team and oversee the disbursements function for all outgoing payments.

In this role, you will

  • Ensure completeness, accuracy and quality in all areas of payables function, related accounting and tax reporting
  • Own 1099 and 1042 reporting processes for multiple disbursement functions
  • Manage AP team lead and staff directly responsible for day-to-day activities including, but not limited to, transaction processing, error resolution, and payment cycles for multiple types of disbursements (including recurring monthly mass payments for multiple Epic Games initiatives)
  • Own accuracy of expense accounts driven by operational accounts payable transactions as well as accounts payable month-end accruals; accrued expenses, AP, prepaid and withholdings tax month-end reconciliations
  • Work closely with purchasing team to maximize efficiency of procure – to – pay process
  • Collaborate with business partners in order to provide business solutions to meet user needs
  • Promote an understanding of roles, processes and activities to the business partners
  • Assist with the development and implementation of integrated initiatives to support the business and Epic’s strategy
  • Develop and report on key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement and staff performance
  • Interact with internal and external customers to deliver a high standard of customer service
  • Contribute to subject matter expertise and influence the development of standards and changes to systems/applications/processes to support those standards
  • Manage the development and delivery of training for internal and external users to ensure productive use of existing and new systems
  • Implement business practices and own effectiveness of internal controls around disbursements function

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting or business administration
  • 8 to 10 years of related work experience, including 3 years experience managing a team of finance professionals at a medium or large organization
  • CPA qualification is highly preferred
  • Significant experience using ERP systems or complex accounting software systems required
  • Advanced MS Excel skills required
  • Proven ability to provide operational leadership required
  • Must have excellent organizational, supervisory, and managerial skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a timely manner
  • Attention to detail, organization and experience in a fast paced environment

  • Experience with Workday Financials
  • Experience with ERP system (or module) implementation
