COMMUNICATIONS
What We Do
The Epic Communications team advances the company's narrative and represents Epic products and the company vision to external and internal audiences globally. We create positive relationships and engagement strategies with a wide range of audiences, including media, investors, influencers, and policymakers.
What You'll Do
Epic is looking for an experienced communications professional to join our growing corporate communications team. In this role you will lead communications about our company, policies and culture both internally and externally. You will partner closely with our executive leaders to ensure that we are effectively communicating our mission, vision and principles to our employees and the public.
In This Role You Will
- Lead strategy and execution of company communications both internally and externally
- Work with executive leadership on communications programs for their organizations, helping leaders effectively engage with their teams
- Develop and execute a communications strategy that builds employee understanding of the business and their role in future growth, rooted in Epic’s principles
- Work cross-functionally to proactively respond to issues internally and externally that may impact our employees, our community or our products
- Partner closely with our real estate and facilities team to communicate about our growing global footprint to our employees, public officials and the media
- Establish and maintain relationships with journalists and influencers, including technology, business, policy and local press on behalf of Epic Games
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in internal and external communications, preferably a mix of in-house and agency
- Experience working closely with executives
- Experience building and executing upon global communications programs from the ground up
- Someone who moves fast, is focused on delivering results, and has a track record of working well across a diverse group of internal and external partners
- A succinct and creative writer
- Someone who is people-focused, passionate, scrappy, solutions-focused, and innovative. These traits equal success at Epic and influence everything we do
Remaining knowledge, skills, and abilities needed
- A proactive problem solver, with strong instincts for when to escalate issues.
- A team player who’s collaborative, supportive, and celebrates others’ wins.
- Communication skills, written and verbal, are stellar
