What You'll Do
We are looking for art producers to join us on Fortnite! In this position you will be responsible for the scheduling and final delivery of game ready assets. We are looking for individuals who excel in organization, have exceptional communication abilities, and who are comfortable managing schedules of complex projects. The ideal candidates are passionate about working in technology and games as well as have a history of working within artistic environments.
In this role, you will
- Own the schedule - Partner with Tech Anim leads to define scope and verify all asset requests are scheduled
- Mentor our Tech Anim APs/PAs with an emphasis on career development and personal growth
- Build and maintain a schedule that respects dependencies, minimizes risk, and provides our artists with the time they need to deliver Epic quality work
- Provide transparency on Tech Anim team status and communicate frequently with the rest of the production team/leads on asset status, risks, and problem solving opportunities.
- Coordinate with Producers from other disciplines to share info, avoid blockers, resolve bugs, and coordinate inter-department production efforts
- Own strike teams across discipline initiatives from start to finish (as needed)
- JIRA triage and bug entry for the Tech Anim team
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience working in an art production role (preferably tech anim).
- Solid understanding of game development, art approval processes, and dependency chains.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work with highly technical artists and developers
- Experience in an environment where you had to exhibit problem-solving skills daily, viewing each new problem as an opportunity for success.
- Ability to adapt and be effective in new situations within a highly dynamic environment
- Self-starter - Someone who can approach challenges creatively and see things through to their final resolution
