As a Sr. ER Manager, People Experience, you will plan, develop and implement initiatives to drive positive workforce engagement across EA. This includes ensuring that the ‘voice’ of our employees is heard, valued and acted upon to improve the working environment, nurturing a high trust environment. As such, a key focus area of this role will be improving EA’s pulse on employee sentiment, driving the organization to improve listening tools and to continue to take decisive actions to improve the employee experience.

Key Focus Areas:

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience and help develop and implement innovative solutions and policies.
  • Advise, mentor and guide management and the broader People Experience function to develop positive employee engagement capability, listening and leadership skills.
  • In partnership with our learning and employee engagement team help develop improved employee listening tools and engagement approaches at various locations companywide.
  • Interpret analytical results in partnership with People Analytics team, driving next steps with key partners
  • Collaborate with HR Partners, COEs and business leaders to help facilitate program, practice and organizational changes and respond to employee feedback
  • Partner with our key partners (Employee Relations, D&I, Legal, etc.) to identify trends and opportunities to proactively find systemic solutions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field; Master’s degree in HR or Employee/Labor Relations a plus.
  • Ideally 7-10 years in Employee Relations or related roles directly managing complex employee relations issues or advising corporate clients around employment policies and programs
  • Strong listening and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience facilitating and training groups of varying sizes
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to drive through influence
  • Experience working cross-functionally with employees and managers in a global matrixed organization to resolve issues and proactively identify root causes
  • Proven ability to be a coach, mentor, advise and partner with stakeholders at varying levels of seniority
  • Solid understanding of Federal, State, and local labor and employment laws and knowledge in technology businesses including a familiarity with global HR practices and policies
  • Must be highly comfortable with ambiguity and constant change, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work under pressure and deal with complex issues, while maintaining composure
  • Experienced decision maker who uses good reasoning and sound judgment required
  • Ability to be discreet and maintain confidentiality is required
  • Demonstrated ability to collect, analyze, interpret and make recommendations on ER related data
  • Some travel may be required
