Brand is the one team at EA who oversees "the entire field" from long-term strategy, product creation to go to market activity. Our measure of success is to build a history of positive brand equity with our players which keeps them excited to play the current game and the games to come.

Responsibilities:

  • You are a brand strategist and storyteller with experience building consumer brands, products and services that achieve our goals
  • You will represent the emergent voice of the player and lead foundational brand strategy and insight work to guide product development, commercial strategy, go to market plans and ongoing growth projects with multiple teams for the PGA TOUR brand
  • Lead the brand strategy, identity and market opportunity assessments
  • Partner with studio team to determine positioning, consumer target and product features to increase brand growth, content development and go-to-market strategies
  • Partner with the studio development team to promote ongoing product and service improvements to create positive brand sentiment and business growth
  • Distill large volumes of consumer research, intel and market trends into tangible and applicable insights that can be used to improve the player experience and inform strategies for brand performance and activation
  • Assume a cross-functional role in promoting agreement to goals and responsibility for results across departments including creative development, integrated communications, media, insights, publishing and finance
  • Lead franchise launch and live service efforts through seamless partnerships with EA colleagues, licensors, partners and agencies; ensure continuity and cohesion across all player touchpoints

Qualifications:

  • Experience as part of a team that has launched/brought a new brand to market
  • Depth of experience in major areas of marketing including brand strategy and product marketing; digital marketing, commercial activation, live services and communications
  • Experience improving market share, sales growth and profitability
  • Experience working with analytics departments to establish tests and interpret data to break down complex problems into consumable and applicable next steps
  • Excellent ability to provide clear direction/feedback to staff and partners and collaborate with others
  • Willingness to travel
