EA is looking for a technical project manager to help promote the build and optimization of lifecycle marketing programs. You will track progress against deliverables, communicate development and release plans, and ensure delivery goals are met.
You will be a part of the Dynamic Omnichannel Messaging (DOM) team, reporting to the Director of Personalization Architecture. DOM is a centralized, always-on, automated messaging program that promotes acquisition, engagement and retention across EA’s digital channels. You will collaborate with several teams across EA marketing, technology, and studio organizations to create new solutions that enable personalized player experiences.
The Technical Project Manager has a daily responsibility for managing complex development projects to completion. One of the Dynamic Messaging team’s main principles is to bring outstanding content experiences for EA players. You will play an essential part in orchestrating activities across multiple teams to complete projects to support EA’s omnichannel strategy and goals.
About The Team
The Dynamic Messaging team’s primary goal is to motivate players to engage with EA games by delivering content against important moments in the player’s journey. The team focuses on using behavioral and transactional data, and automation tools to deliver personalized messages, at scale
To this end, we develop enterprise-wide solutions that use automation and data to power new ways of enhancing the player experience within and outside of our games.
Responsibilities Of This Role Include
- Develop relationships and trust with partners through reliability and serve as the primary POC
- Identify technical gap areas to help inform adoption, migration, or upgrades for partners
- Lead planning, feature development planning, and program checkpoint sessions
- Work with engineers and strategists to translate complex requirements into development blue prints
- Manage project plans and schedule commitments
- Organize deeper discussions, technical demonstrations, or problem-solving sessions
- Standardize and establish repeatable process from planning to ship, inclusive of security, compliance and operation guidelines
- Track risks across the program deliverables and communicate their status to global teams and leadership
- Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Operability reviews
- Monitor feedback/feature requests, and lead Release Retrospective
- Balance long-term roadmap priorities with daily task completion
Desired Experience
- Project or program management experience in a distributed team environment, PMP Project Management Certificate a plus
- 5+ years experience in Technical Consulting, Technical Project Management, Customer Success, or similar
- Experience working across large, distributed teams within an enterprise-level business
- Familiarity with both creating and analyzing data sets to optimize processes, identifying gaps, or communicating successes
- Experience with the software development life cycle and Agile methodologies
- Extremely data-driven and able to lead prioritization; Ability to remove blockers and promote progress
- Experience working with ALM solutions (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
- Experience delivering live services, game development, and platform ecosystems a plus
