The Challenge Ahead:

You will work as part of the EA Production Security team responsible for the design of security architecture, security infrastructure management and advanced technical support that power our games and live services. You will provide the technical leadership required to create high-quality, security solutions and services that meet EA's needs.

Description

We are looking for a Security Engineer to improve the security posture of our games and services. You will be involved with the entire product development lifecycle, working with partner teams to help them make the best security design choices. You will find and fix security and gameplay integrity issues at scale, reporting to the Senior Director, GRC and Production Security.

Responsibilities

  • You will be involved with design assessments on EA products running on PC, web, mobile and consoles, identifying and participating in the remediation of security and gameplay integrity issues.

  • You will develop a broad and deep technical understanding of EA products, services, networks, and architectures, and use that understanding to guide your reviews and recommendations.

  • You will apply security policy and principles into concise documentation that can be understood and repeatedly applied by partner development teams

  • You will recognize repetitive issue patterns across our games and services, and partner with EA Security, Studio and Platform teams and their leadership, to solve these at scale.

  • You will identify and distill external research, influencing how EA identifies and mitigates emerging security and gameplay integrity issues.

Qualifications

  • At least three years of experience designing and recommending security controls for complex services.

  • Expertise in multiple of the following domains: Linux(preferred), Networking, OS Internals, Cloud Architecture, Identity and Access Management, Database Security, DevSecOps.
