Product Manager, Live Services, Positive Play Group

As the Product Manager, you will function as the Positive Play strategic lead for one or more games, identifying and prioritizing opportunities that align with the commitments we have made in our Positive Play Charter . You will identify player behavior patterns by working closely with a variety of teams, including game studios, brand teams, consumer insights and analytics, World Wide Customer Experience, and player communities. Our Product Managers will stay current on relevant work in the game industry, as well as other industries where online social community building and engagement takes place, and use this knowledge to create and pitch business cases around new product concepts that align with our Positive Play mission.

A Product Manager Will Also

  • Leverage data and insights to influence and motivate game teams to use available technology and build features that are designed to decrease disruptive behavior and encourage positive play
  • Develop Positive Play product roadmaps for the game, including defining technical and feature requirements as well as KPI’s
  • Establish and frequently refine processes and workflows to deliver on the above responsibilities
  • Provide day to day leadership that engages and inspires other leads and partners to deliver exceptional quality work towards the Positive Play mission

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience in product management in a consumer facing role
  • Demonstrated skill making use of large data sets to influence behavior change
  • Ability to effectively balance the needs of technology, business, and user experience
  • Ability to navigate competing stakeholder priorities and effectively engage those partners in productive decision making
  • Written and verbal communication skills that are appropriate for many audiences at all levels in the organization
  • Skill in proactively identifying risks and making changes with an appropriate sense of urgency
  • Experience in the game industry is not required but would be a significant advantage
