The AsiaCo HD Market Analytics Manager is a key member of the Asia Commercial team, focused on the enhancement of EA’s commercial activities, driving increased users and revenues across all the APAC regions (Asia, India, Middle East & Africa). The role will be responsible for delivering market-centric insights & analytics that reinforce EA’s market strategy in the Asia region, partnering closely with EA studios and global stakeholders for best practice sharing and insight optimization.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish AsiaCo Game Performance analytics reporting capabilities across each country and title
  • Own the management of the AsiaCo Impact Matrix, which will track EA’s publishing impact of strategic priorities benchmarked against best-in-class genre executions in each country. The output will help prioritize and/or re-prioritize efforts while identifying the gaps in our execution and capabilities
  • Provide consolidated tracking capabilities for all Test & learn/growth initiatives across the region
  • Support AsiaCo & Global Demand planning teams for long-range planning and scenario planning
  • Work with various studios to form an understanding of our market’s diversity, unique player dichotomy along with any other nuances which are meaningful for strategic growth
  • Partner with Asia Corp dev to present a structured process that provides Macro market economy, demographics, HD landscape & competitor tracking in each key markets

Data discovery/reporting solutions

  • Manage ETL’s for market data relevant to strategic planning, trend analysis
  • Data mining and development of data to business Symantec layer
  • Regulatory BAU reporting, ad-hoc requests and working with internal teams

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience and knowledge in SQL, with any additional proficiency with programming languages (R, Python etc) is a plus
  • Proficiency with data analytics and data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI or google cloud platform
  • Experience in ETL and automated solutions
  • Ability to interpret and query big data create insights into a comprehensive manner for business to derive meaningful insights
  • Strong Knowledge in the sector with a passion for games and extensive experience in analytics or closely related fields
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related Business management fields is preferred
