Job Description
As a Experience Designer, you will create meaningful and cohesive experiences through an understanding of our Game Developers and showcase creative design execution. You will work with Product and Engineering teams to build the next generation of our Developer Journey by bringing the Game Developer and Operator to the forefront in everything we do. You are an all-around designer with both interaction and visual design skills. You excel in an environment that values independence coupled with collaboration. You have a passion for empathizing with the needs and behaviors of our Game Developers/Operators and our Studio publishing partners, and how to solve for them through the design of our Developer Platform.
Responsibilities:
- Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that
lead to intuitive user experiences - Collaborate with the Design team, Product Managers, and developers to set
priorities and find optimal design solutions to improve usability - Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions
- Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate designs
Consistently champion usability and accessibility - Leverage and drive the use of established UX techniques and deliverables
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in user experience design, interaction design, product
design, or in a similar role - A strong portfolio with examples of finished UX/UI work and insight into your
development process - Experience designing Developer-first SaaS / B2B products a plus
Experience in, or understanding of, games, game development, and game
tooling like Unity, Unreal, or other tools a plus - Evolving knowledge of usability principles and techniques, interaction design,
and design patterns - Passionate about resolving user pain points through great design
- Solid knowledge of design and prototyping tools like Figma, Invision or others
- Knowledge of inclusive design principles and experience designing for
usability and accessibility - Understanding of the importance of providing and soliciting feedback in an
inclusive and respectful manner - A natural, deep curiosity that inspires you to learn, investigate and always ask
why - Ability to work autonomously and think proactively
