Engineering manager

We are looking for an engineering manager in EA China Studio.

As a critical member of the studio, you will have the opportunity to work with a passionate team. Your role will support the studio technical director in managing and growing the engineering team from a studio perspective.

Responsibilities:

  • You will help to recruit and grow the team with technical directors.
  • You will work with project TDs to help new employees onboard and ramp up smoothly.
  • You will organize and lead mentoring, knowledge-sharing, and guidance to grow engineers.
  • You will help the studio TD to organize engineering activities to grow the engineering culture.
  • You will work with TDs to improve engineering team health (stress awareness and managing employee well-being).

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent training and professional experience.
  • 10 years+ years of industry technical experience, including 5+ years in software development leadership positions.
  • Large engineering team management experience is required.
  • Excellent communication, presetation and documentation skills.
  • Gaming industry experience is required.
