The International Communications Manager, EA SPORTS FIFA, is a visible and crucial communications role that connects EA and its FIFA brand with players in our International region.

As the Manager for International Communications, you will support the earned media strategy of EA SPORTS FIFA, in a pivotal year as we transition into EA SPORTS FC, through traditional media across International markets.

You will report directly to the International Communications Lead, EA SPORTS and will collaborate with other teams around the business, partnering with global communication team members and with in-region marketing teams and external PR agencies. You will be support the success of our franchise communications whilst following EA's corporate communications strategy and enterprise-wide communications agenda.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the International Communications Lead in partnering with the regional and local Brand Marketing teams aiding our International agency network.

  • Help to ensure the powerful messages and storylines we deliver through PR and owned channels meet the business and communication needs of International markets.

  • Draft press materials and other communications for International markets.

  • In collaboration with the global communications team, help to increase awareness and brand recognition across International markets through defined PR strategies.

  • In collaboration with the International Communications Lead, coordinate with important EA stakeholders to ensure the use of tools, creation of partnerships, allocation of marketing spend and event attendance dovetail into and maximise the execution of our editorial plans.

  • Ensure accurate reporting and feedback on local implementation to the global communications team and International Communications Lead.

  • Coordinate and support respective agencies to pitch and place coverage in national, regional and local news outlets, as well as facilitating inbound media requests with the local teams.

  • Work with the wider team to ensure the execution of global product campaigns are aligned with local corporate communication needs and sensitivities.

  • Ensure all Electronic Arts policies are observed and followed.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in communications, strategic media relations or public relations in multiple international markets.

  • An interest in football and video games is beneficial!

  • Must be passionate about communications and media relations with a finger on the pulse of the latest industry trends.

  • Demonstrated strength in managing and motivating agency networks.

  • A process-minded planner who can determine deadlines, logistics and operational plans for multi-dimensional programmes and events across the region.

  • Comfortable working with changing priorities.
