We are looking for a Director of Financial Communications to join our global corporate communications team. You will be a strategic partner to our CEO, CFO and Investor Relations teams, sitting at the intersection of financial and corporate storytelling.

You must be fluent in finance and convey our performance through narratives that highlight our priorities and positioning. Your deep industry experience and media relations savvy will be essential to ensure our strategies resonate across investment audiences and business media.

You must be capable and comfortable when counseling and supporting senior executives across but not limited to ; preparation of quarterly conference materials, scripts, releases, shareholder communications, investor days, investor briefings, important disclosures, Environmental & Social Governance and industry positioning, and media engagement around important financial announcements.

Reporting to the Senior Director Corporate Communications and working in close partnership with the CEO Communications Lead, the Director of Financial Communications will be a cross-functional and collaborative member of our global corporate communications team. You will bring important insights that support and strengthen our broader corporate narrative and acute understanding of how the communications landscape is connected, across channels, audiences and geographies.

You should also be passionate about EA's business and purpose. You are happy to work at multiple altitudes, demonstrate success at balancing long-term strategic vision with daily execution and the delivery of cut through narratives with financial media, industry and investment audiences.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Drives appreciation and understanding for EA's vision, strategies and financial performance, framing our overall corporate narrative with key financial and business media.
  • Prepares quarterly conference materials, scripts, financial releases, shareholder communications, investor days, investor briefings, key disclosures, Environmental & Social Governance and industry positioning together with the CEO Communications Lead and other Electronic Arts teams.
  • Counsels and supports senior executives, such as EA's CEO and CFO, as they communicate on EA's business strategies in media engagements, thought leadership and visibility platforms.
  • Guides the strategy and execution of all financial communications through multiple channels including PR and social media planning, press relationships and engagement with top tier financial and business press.
  • Partnership with global communications colleagues to ensure performance-based messaging is consistent and accurate across all markets.
  • Partnership with EA's Investor Relations team, being an extended member of their organization.
  • Ensure the culture and values of the EA brand are represented and felt through all our communications.
  • Be a collaborative global communications team member who plays a meaningful role in a strategic and integrated storytelling agenda.

Experience and Skills

  • 12+ years of corporate communications experience, inclusive of 5+ years in financial communications or investor relations roles.
  • Proven track record of delivering thoughtful communications strategies and outstanding media results that enhance brand perception and reputation.
  • Experienced counseling senior executives to illustrate a perspective and influence outcomes.
  • Demonstrated financial literacy and an understanding of capital markets.
  • Diplomacy and tact, with the ability to manage confidential matters.
  • Creativity and a understanding of what makes a good story; conveys ideas to experienced journalists and other stakeholders
  • Understanding of the evolving communications landscape and the intersections across audiences, channels and geographies.
  • Motivated, self-starting team player who can operate in a fast-paced and fluid environment, while simultaneously managing multiple projects across time zones.
  • Process-minded planner who can develop plans, meet deadlines and manage multi-dimensional programs.
  • Demonstrated strength in building relationships, while managing and motivating partners across teams.
  • Experience in an entertainment organization and / or personal interest in gaming is desirable.
