FIFA Mobile is looking for a Quality Verification Development Manager to join their Content Quality Verification team

Development Managers are the owners for a product or major service/feature. They are accountable for the end-to-end quality. This entails scoping strategizing for all aspects of the QV business on the project, performance managing the execution of those plans from pre-production all the way to post launch activities.

Does This Describe You?

  • Experienced Management Capacity within a Live Content release environment
  • Multiple years of managerial experience in relatable industries
  • Know software development processes, change management, and process improvement
  • Experience with distributed development and QA
  • Experience managing external teams
  • Understanding of server infrastructure, micro-transactions and testing methodologies

Responsibilities Specific to the Role:

  • Translate product roadmaps and feature requests into acceptance criteria
  • Work with production, development, and other departments to actively remove blockers ensuring the releases are high quality, on-schedule
  • Drive execution from concept to live (estimates, tasks, change requests, bugs)
  • Regularly, clear communication on project and roadmap status, risks, and trade-offs to all appropriate stakeholders
  • Lead discussions around risk impact, mitigation and contingency strategies
  • Identify and coordinate cross-component dependencies throughout the development process
  • Identify opportunities to reduce wasteful practices (e.g./ using more streamlined approaches through use of technology)

General Development Manager responsibilities:

  • Manage to maintain high levels of team morale, form plans to improve if team morale is low
  • Attend daily stand-ups, grooming, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives and other team meetings with your team(s)
  • Encourage constructive communication and collaboration
  • Evaluate individual team member and overall team performance
  • Understand the business priorities and keep the team on track
  • Manage stakeholder communication and requirements, including contractor management team members
  • Defining and implementing metrics, reporting mechanism, management methodologies, and communication of processes and knowledge to internal and external teams
  • Clearly communicate issues, risks, concerns, and successes to stakeholders
