The Challenge Ahead
Local market insights and intelligence continue to shape our approach and inform our decision-making. We identified the need for more dedicated commercial market intelligence to fuel our markets strategy. Creating a custom function around this capability and ensuring that we can simplify and present back this intelligence in a meaningful commercial way will allow for more informed decision-making and progress based on insights and intelligence into player metrics and experience, competition, market potential, and EA performance across our portfolio
Market Potential and Growth Strategy
You will help the team achieve strategic growth by identifying and analysing trends, applying expertise in commercial revenue streams
Player Experience and Purchase Behaviours
You will develop insights and recommendations to address player purchase behaviours and markets variances
Form an understanding of the player network applying from multiple data ingestion points
You will work with external partners to gather information for market performance reports
Understand our Competition
You will analyse and report competitor trends, including go-to-market strategies, performance, sales and player engagement
Maintain a release calendar with AAA titles and F2P updates.
You are studying in the penultimate year of an undergraduate degree
Available to commence a full-time, 12 month placement in July 2023.
Eligible to work in Guildford, UK, without the need for visa/relocation support
Passion, interest and knowledge of the video gaming and entertainment industry
Communicate, collaborate and build strong relationships across regional and central teams
Enthusiasm, organisation and drive to manage a demanding and time-sensitive workload
A business thinker who has a strategic perspective on markets
Excel, PowerPoint, and other online collaboration tools (e.g., G Suite, Asana, Slack)
Experience in commercial/business intelligence tools also desirable
