We are looking for a Community Manager to join our globally distributed team, with options for on-site, remote or hybrid work in Vancouver or Montreal. You will report to PQI Business Operations Leadership and will partner across PQI disciplines to create player-facing resources and engaging content to grow our playtesting community.
Responsibilities
You will develop and implement strategies to sustainably grow our playtesting community focusing on the playtester journey and unique player requirements
You will work across PQI to understand upcoming playtest needs and evolving player requirements, develop a strategy to grow the player community, fuel deeper engagement, and amplify our mission
You will collaborate with global EA partners to develop content calendars to maximize engagement across shared social media channels
You will organize and host community events both online and offline, to build community awareness
You will grow our community voice, develop a shared culture and identity, and maintain a tight dialogue between our studios, PQI, and players
You will cultivate relationships with top influencers and players within the community through social media, community content, and in-game collaboration
You will conduct surveys, research, and feedback from the community on issues and trends affecting the playtesting experience
You will write, review, and copyedit communications to ensure they are consistent and aligned with brand tone and voice
Qualifications
You bring 4+ years of experience in Community Management or related field
You are experienced in working with forums and social media management tools
You understand content performance and can apply learnings to future campaigns to maximize reach, impressions, and engagements
You have a strong written and verbal communication skills in English and enjoy telling stories through content creation
You have a strong understanding of social media platforms, mechanics, and trends, especially Meta, Twitter/X, TikTok, and Discord
You are passionate about games and understand the people who play them
BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES
British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria): ยบ $77,600 - $119,000 CAN Annually
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
