Responsibilities:

The Community Manager's main mandate is to be FIFA mobile’s online voice on various social platforms and to act as a bridge between the community and the developers. This individual will be solely focused on the FIFA mobile title. They will be responsible for representing the game team to the community including game updates, troubleshooting issues, and marketing promotions, as well as communicating with gamers directly on various social media platforms, including Discord.

  • Manage & help moderate the official Brazil Discord server & other region specific channels.
  • Coordinate and participate in posting on FIFA Mobile Global’s current social media channels including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Discord.
  • Engage with users; provide guidance, support and insight on all existing/new content
  • Collaborate with a team of creatives to edit, capture, or otherwise help them get their messages out to players via dev blogs, short-form video content, or direct engagement with players on social or via livestreams.
  • Work with a global team of community managers, creating localized content for a truly worldwide audience of gamers.
  • Align with Publishing/Marketing Mgrs and fellow CM colleagues to create proposals that support community activations.
  • Promote product milestones and provide awareness on all live ops events, participating in livestreams around new content & marketing beats.
  • Help create compelling marketing communications to acquire, engage and excite our players.
  • Take part in design meetings and provide feedback on features, programs, and packs.
  • Collect user feedback on issues, hot topics, bugs etc. and report them to the development team in daily meetings & reports.
  • Be the internal community advocate for Brazil and provide relevant feedback that represents the players.
  • Coordinate with customer service teams to ensure positive player experiences and work on any communication plans with them when needed.
  • Create reports that highlight all activities, events, etc within the Brazil community.
  • Monitor and track the performance of your community; tracking key community KPIs, community sentiment, etc. and provide visibility to the development team.
  • Work with the Global Community team to develop strategy on how to grow, retain & measure the sentiment of our community
  • Actively seek new opportunities within social streams (i.e. TikTok, Twitch, Reddit, etc.) where potential FIFA Mobile Brazil community may have a presence in; report findings and define action items.
  • Share insights on social media/game community best practices that you’ve seen success in.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Ability to speak & write fluently in Brazilian Portuguese. Please note any languages you speak or write & your level of proficiency on your resume.
  • A minimum of 1 years’ experience working on a live game, preferably with time spent being active in the games’ community.
  • Preference is given to individuals providing live support to a mobile product on a minimum of 2 of the following digital platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Discord, etc.).
  • Experience working with external consumers and internal development teams on at least 2 projects. Since this individual will directly support end customers as well as internal teams, this experience is important.
  • Experience creating assets for a community (ie. streaming, video, gifs or photoshopped images) is an asset for this role. - Very strong written and verbal communication skills (email, Slack, video calls, Twitter, Discord, Reddit). The CM will communicate with many various international stakeholders as well as the end gamers. Need to show the ability to communicate effectively with internal staff as well as with gamers online.
    - Organizational skills - including the ability to self-motivate and manage your time effectively.
  • Strong copywriting skills (the CM will write program guides and blog entries for players) and a keen attention to detail.
  • Experience being an active member of a mobile gaming community is highly preferred.
  • Understanding of streaming, experience as a streamer & knowledge of esports is an asset.

Strong preference is given to anyone with an affinity for FIFA and knowledge of soccer.
