On the NHL Team we work on numerous title updates to bring thousands of new changes to our users. In this role you will work with Producers, Development Directors and Technical Leads to lead the development of bug fixes, game changes, and new features into the game across all different modes of NHL. You will report to an Associate Producer on the NHL team. This will be a hybrid position based in Vancouver.

Responsibilities:

Our online engineers develop technology to support and deliver a connected and socially interactive game experience. Above all, we're looking for an engineer who is excited to use their talent and experience to contribute to AAA quality games.

As an NHL Online Tool Engineer, you will:

  • Develop technical solutions for regular and web-based tools to support online game features.

  • Work with content creators and engineers to produce solutions that are fit for purpose.

  • Iterate and design improvements to live systems and workflows.

  • Work with 3rd party and internal software APIs.

Qualifications:

Please note that you do not need to qualify for all requirements to be considered. We encourage you to apply if you can meet most of the requirements and are comfortable opening a dialog to be considered.

  • 1+ years of experience in software development.

  • Knowledge of C# and JavaScript

  • Knowledge of web frameworks, such as React or Angular JS

  • Knowledge of database technologies.

  • Knowledge of good software programming practices.

  • Experience with networking protocols, client/server, peer-to-peer, multi-threaded architectures.

  • Experience with C++

  • Experience with PHP.

  • Work in a dynamic and collaborative team environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (working toward degree or recent graduate)
