The Challenge Ahead

Our mobile team is looking for an Interactive Experience Designer to bring their creative visual sense to the EA Sports Mobile Team! We are looking for someone who is experienced, versatile and passionate to bridge the gap between our engineering and art teams to create stunning animations and visuals.

Your Impact at EA:

  • Create mock-up animatics, following a given style and direction while iterating based on feedback
  • Build animations through a pipeline from conception, integration and optimization into the product
  • Create particle effect assets for use in animations
  • Develop user-friendly, optimized tools, workflows and pipelines
  • Estimate work while making smart trades between quality and pace
  • Understand how the EA audience plays with its games/services, and make use of this knowledge in the development of amazing visuals
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure EA branded games are of high-quality

Does this Describe You?

  • Professional experience with Adobe Products with a strong understanding of Photoshop, After Effects, Premier and Animate
  • Motion graphics experience
  • Strong familiarity with Unity
  • Intermediate programming experience with C# and XML
  • Analyze project requirements
  • Technical aptitude and a cooperative/collaborative approach to teamwork
  • Work in an iterative and Agile production process

Nice to have:

  • Understanding of UX principals
  • 4+ years of experience in gaming
  • Experience with Haxe/Actionscript
  • Experience with other Adobe Products (IE: Illustrator, InDesign etc.)
  • Game production experience on Social and Mobile platforms
  • Experience with Maya and 3D modelling
  • Experience working in a version control environment (Perforce)
  • A passion for making games!
