Duties:

• Test software as per QA Lead or Test Coordinator instructions
• Accurately identify and enter defects into the database according to departmental standards
• Re-test allocated defects (eg. Claimed Fixed) in specified builds, and update the corresponding database entry
• Complete any assigned tests (eg. play-through, game play evaluation, competitive analysis)
• Conform to Square Enix internal standards during testing

Experience & qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• College Degree an asset
• Previous industry experience an asset
• Scripting or basic programming experience an asset

Technical skills:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to follow technical instructions
• Ability to work in a methodical and logical manner
• Working knowledge of hardware platform limitations
• Knowledge of PC hardware an asset
• Familiar with the use of a bug database
• Familiar with test case management tools and methodologies
• Working knowledge of MS Office

Interpersonal skills:

• Ability to work as part of a team
• Flexibility to do overtime if necessary
• Ability to adapt to change and work under pressure while respecting deadlines
