Title: Lead Development QA

Reports to: Dev QA Manager

Duties:

• Define testing strategy, testing objectives and performance standards.
• Ensure that all members of your team have clear objectives.
• Act as a mentor and a coach for your team while implementing best practices.
• Coordinate with members of the production on necessary content integrated in the build for delivery.
• Keep a constant line of communication with Directors, Leads and Productions on status of content and any important flags that need to be raised.

Experience and qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in testing video games, including one project in a development team or 2 years of experience in software development
• quality assurance is required.
• Experience in a leadership position.
• Experience with test plans creation.
• Experience with online games.
• Experience with cross-platform development.

Technical Skills:

• Have a logical and technical mindset.
• Good understanding of network infrastructure.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Network connectivity knowledge including the simulation of different network conditions in the context of a multiplayer game.
• French and English spoken and written skills.

• Ability to work within a team;
• Be autonomous and proactive;
• Be a good communicator;
• Be able to adapt to changes and work under pressure while meeting deadlines;
• The maturity to give and receive constructive criticism.
