Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
  • Writing and debugging code according to company style guide
  • Transform design specification into functional features
  • Communicate with other team members to deliver a high quality product
  • Maintaining an effective development pipeline
  • Participating in developer meetings
  • Participating in developer community meetings
  • Taking an active role in code reviews and quality assurance activities
  • Taking an active role in estimation discussions with the product team
  • Offering and implement solutions in a timely manner
  • Releasing apps with support from Senior/Lead developers
  • Working on large projects using a tech stack that includes software such as Git, JIRA and other collaborative tools.

Experience

  • At least 3 years professional HTML5 game development experience
  • Ability to work to a deadline
  • Strong desire to learn and to share knowledge
  • Expert knowledge of game development using frameworks such as PixiJS, ThreeJS, PlayCanvas and PhaserJS. Experience with native engines such as Unity is also a bonus
  • Expert knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript and familiar with common web frameworks and build tools
  • Worked on games or applications that have been launched
  • Able to communicate technical ideas to a variety of experience levels
  • Worked and collaborated in teams
  • Experience in writing technical documentation

Nice to have

  • Creative skills in animation, graphic design and sound
  • Experience in front-end multiplayer game programming
  • Knowledge of NodeJS scripting
  • Shader programming skills
