DreamHack is expanding and is now looking for a high-performing Head of Sales for our European sales team. The successful candidate will meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives and build a world-class sales team. What we want you to do

The Head of Sales will be based at our office in Stockholm and will be responsible of developing and executing our strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base. This, by partnering with customers to understand their business needs and objectives, and effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations. You will lead, develop and coach the sales staff by recruiting, orienting, coaching and training the employees; maintaining a positive, safe, secure, and legal work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.

Responsibilities include

  • Own and hit or exceed annual sales targets
  • Accomplish staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, motivating, counseling, and disciplining employees
  • Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
  • Ensure company success by transparent reporting & communication, cross product cooperation and acting in accordance with company values and regulations
  • Identifying key areas for improvement in the sales process.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Attending industry events and conferences to generate new business leads.
  • Acting as a spokesperson for the organisation at sales events and conferences.
  • Monthly reporting on sales performance against budget and reporting on variances.

What we ask of you

  • Proven sales executive experience, meeting and exceeding targets
  • Experience from successfully leading and developing a sales team
  • Experience from entreprise/concepts/creative sales or sponsorships
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Capable of managing and completing multiple projects at the same time but also be able to prioritize across different tasks and projects
  • Be able to manage your own time and plan your time efficiently to meet important deadlines
  • Passion for gaming
  • Fluent in English

Nice to have

  • Experience working in esports
