DreamHack founded 1994, is one of the oldest and most well-known gaming events in the world, having 3 consecutive world records as the World’s Largest Computer Festival in Guinness Book of World Records. Today, DreamHack is a global event- and esports company, with its headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden and established events in 9 countries (Sweden, Spain, Germany, India, France, Canada, Brazil, Netherlands and the USA). What we want you to do
DreamHack is searching for an Event Operations Manager that will help to create and improve our events. We need a person that loves to have a lot of things going on at the same time and have an eye for quality.
DreamHack operates events globally, and this position requires a lot of traveling both operating events when we do them, as well as scouting and planning trips. A large portion of the job will focus on our festivals in Europe. Together with a workgroup, you will help coordinate the delivery of an event and make sure that we have the correct tools to create an awesome festival experience for all visitors.

Contract type: Permanent, with a 6-month probationary period
Key responsibilities and accountabilities include;
- Work close with Head of Operations and Project Managers to build large-scale events including the planning and execution of both festivals and esports events.
- Development, production, and delivery of projects from proposal to delivery
- Ensuring that events meet the needs of the business
- The setting of communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project
- Manage budget and cost responsibility for specific areas within each event budget
- Gather all data needed for executing events from an operations view
Requirements
Must have
- 3 years experience in event production
- Experienced working with multiple projects and stakeholders at once
- Skilled in organization and clear communication
- Knowledge of staging, scenic, lighting, audio, & video systems
- Knowledge of how to plan and create drawings / floor plans
- Fluent in English and Swedish
- Drivers license – B category
Nice to have
- Forklift license
- Mobile platforms license
- Knowledge of computers
- AutoCAD experience
- Experience, knowledge, and understanding of esports and gaming
